Hi, Wildflowers!
I am super excited to be back blogging with you all, especially with many new, fresh ideas ready to be shared! I recently returned to the U.S after an incredible trip to Austria with my boyfriend and his family who live in the Netherlands. We ventured by car from their hometown all the way to Au, Austria — a small and cozy village with delicious food and delectable wine.
Before we left the Netherlands, I was presented with a challenge that has been solved on this blog before – packing light while packing cute outfits! I had to figure out a way to pack in a single bag that was the size of a carry- on suitcase. Thanks to the past blog posts about packing for various trips in a carry-on, I finally figured it out and got a week’s worth of clothes in one compact bag.
Since I found this to be quite the challenge, I thought maybe some of our readers have experienced this problem while packing for a ski vacation as well. Here are 17 looks with 16 pieces for all different activities during your trip!

This outfit is all about texture – the silk blouse, beautiful fur cuffs and printed pants. Great for a chilly night out!
2.
For my friends who love the sporty style but don’t necessarily love snow sports… layer these adorable MarcCain Sports sweaters for a cozy statement.
As you can see, I fall into this category! This is me reading as I soak in the sun on the Austrian slopes.

It’s poncho season at Wildflower! We have this beautiful plaid poncho in a blush pink which is the perfect companion for a fun, printed blouse. The pink turtle neck is one of the many staples in this ski trip collection because it is both great for layering and and thin enough to feel comfortable in the heated indoors.

A beautiful, classy look for a night out in the town.

This is what I call a perfect traveling outfit: comfy joggers, a light tee and a funky scarf.

Here is the poncho once again but with a silky golden tank for a lighter look.

Same tank with my favorite skirt!

For anyone who likes to mix and match prints… this one is for you!

I know it seems risky to flaunt a skirt in below-zero temperatures, but with a good pair of tights, a warm coat and a pair of boots, you’ll be rockin’ it in any type of weather. I love bringing dresses and skirts to a chilly vacation to dress them differently than back home in the the heat!
I hope this blog inspires you to hit the slopes with a spontaneous weekend trip to a chilly destination! I will be here dreaming about this view for now..
